THE BASE AND ITS PREPARATION
- The substrate must be solid, dry before and after use, clean, matte, free of dust and grease. It must be hard, unaffected by frost, and not crumbling (non-powdery).
- Remove any part that does not adhere or has low cohesion, as well as any material that may harm adhesion.
- Thoroughly remove dust.
- There must be no standing water on the surface during application.
- If the substrate consists of different types of unstable materials and/or has joints (e.g., tiles), it is necessary to take the required precautions to avoid movement due to expansion, surface and internal stress differences, and shear.
- It is essential to ensure that the substrate is properly stable. If you have any doubts, consult us. Testing is always recommended.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS (MISCELLANEOUS)
- Tool cleaning: Clean the product with water while it is still fresh.
- Warnings: The object must be protected from rain, sun, wind, and cold until completely dry and until fully submerged in water. In closed and poorly ventilated areas, strong condensation may occur after application due to relatively lower wall temperatures. Increasing ventilation usually resolves this issue very quickly. The use of dehumidifying devices is not recommended for the first 28 days after application. It is highly discouraged to apply products containing salts (sodium sulfate, nitrates, calcium, etc.).
- Tip: BEAL strongly recommends attending one or more training courses about MORTEX® brand products, depending on the purpose of the object. The company organizes frequent various types of training courses (according to different usage systems) at its headquarters or at distributors. They are available to both professionals and private individuals in Belgium and abroad (Lithuania). After participating in the training courses, private consultations at the site can be organized. For more information, please contact us.
- Follow the instructions for use exactly, taking into account the product's intended use. Never use products other than those specified in this technical data sheet to avoid any risk of failure.
- Always test the product with your chosen protective measure, as each pigment and each protective layer reacts differently.
- For one object and each type of product, always use products that have the same batch number.
ENVIRONMENT
Dispose of waste at a specialized collection center.
