Technical Properties
MORTEX® RAPID+ is a dark gray powder designed for the rapid stopping of water penetration in concrete and masonry. The product can be used even under water pressure and ensures an extremely quick reaction — hardening begins within a few dozen seconds.
It is intended for the urgent stopping of water inflow, sealing cracks, voids, and leaks, and is also used before the installation of MORTEX® and BEALSTONE® systems.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor work, above-ground and underground structures.

- The substrate must be mineral, solid, clean, non-crumbling, free of dust and grease.
- It is recommended to open cracks in a "swallow tail" shape to improve adhesion.
- Before work, the surface is dampened, but without standing water.
- Mix only in small portions — just enough for one application.
- Water is poured into a bowl, powder is added, and mixed by hand or with a spatula until a homogeneous mass is achieved.
- Once it starts to harden, the mass cannot be mixed again.
Hardening adjustment:
slowing down — up to 50% fine clean sand;
speeding up — warm water and heated powder.
- The mixture is pressed into the area where water flows.
- The pressure and holding time depend on the water pressure.
- In case of dripping through the block pores, the powder is rubbed with a leather glove in several strokes.
- If water penetrates in several places, first seal the side areas, then the main leak.
- Tools are washed with water until set.
- If it starts to set – soak for 30 minutes.
Protect from rain, sun, wind, and cold.
Condensation may form in enclosed spaces — ventilation is necessary.
Do not use on surfaces with salt contamination.
Do not use if the temperature <5 °C.
- Contains lime, cement, silicates.
- Protect respiratory tract, skin, and eyes.
- Use gloves, wash with water if necessary.
Dispose of waste at specialized collection points.
The manufacturer provides recommendations based on available experience, but due to different conditions at the site, the user must conduct their own tests and verifications.
